Originally written by Th. A. Boeree, Lieutenant-Colonel (rtd) Dutch Field Artillery, this manuscrift was given to me a few years ago by a good friend of mine, Jan Rudolphie († 2014). It has not been published before and I think it’s a useful addition to all of the information about the Battle of Arnhem that already exists. This version of the battle is somewhat behind the current fact’s that have since turned up, but still I make the choice to publish it from his original perspective of the Battle, with only small changes.
