The Market Garden Foundation and the Work Group Glider Pilot Regiment Memorial hereby invite you to the unvei ling of the Glider Pilot Regiment monument.
The unveiling ceremony wil l take place on:
- Friday, September 16th 2022 at 13:30hrs
- Wolfhezerweg 111,
- Wolfheze (entrance to Chalet Park Lindenhof and the Glider museum)
Performed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Renkum, Mrs. Agnes Schaap.
The location of the monument bears a significance and was specifically chosen due to being a central point between the landing zones used in September 1944.
The monument has been designed by Matt Yates, in consultation with the remain ing GPR veterans who fought at Arnhem.
