This September marks the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Arnhem. Building on the success of D-Day, the Allies launched a major airborne operation to attack the Nazi position in the Netherlands and advance into Germany.

IWM is the official repository of archive material shot by the British Army Film and Photographic Unit who accompanied the troops into battle.
